• Screen Recording Data. Our app may collect screen recording data to provide services of real-time chessboard analysis. This includes capturing your screen when specific app features are in use. You activate screen capturing by yourself, and you can disable it at any time via the app’s settings. We're only use screen data to analyze chessboard - if there is no chessboard in selected area of the screen - nothing is process/analyzed or stored.
• FEN Data: We collect and store Forsyth-Edwards Notation (FEN) strings representing chess positions detected by the app. These FEN strings are used to provide analytics and other chess-related insights to users.
• Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with the app, including session information, feature usage, and other diagnostic data to improve our services.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Improving ChessMate: We use the FEN data and usage data to enhance the app’s functionality, improve user experience, and provide better analytics.
• Machine Learning Models: The FEN data collected may be used to develop and improve machine learning models that predict cheating in chess. Collected FENs and these models may be shared with third parties, including chess platforms.

• Screen Recording Data: Screen recording data is not saved and shared with third parties. We're only storing FEN Notation of current chess position which we can share.

You can stop using ChessMate at any time. If you wish to stop the collection of FEN data, you should uninstall the app from your device.
